PlainCrypto is built to collect as little personal information as practical.

Tool answers

When you complete a PlainCrypto tool, the site stores the structured answers needed for that result, the exact result shown, the tool logic/copy version and any source snapshot used. This lets a saved answer stay reproducible even if PlainCrypto changes later.

PlainCrypto does not need your recovery phrase, private key, wallet passphrase, wallet password, PIN, 2FA code, API secret or other secret access material. Do not enter those things into PlainCrypto.

Sharing

Sharing is off by default. A public share token is not created unless you explicitly choose to create a share link for a saved version.

If you enable sharing, anyone who has that unguessable link can view that exact saved version. Other versions stay private unless you share them separately. Do not share the link if you consider anything on that saved result private.

Sessions and accounts

The site can use a necessary session to protect forms and, for anonymous answers, remember which saved answers you are allowed to manage during that session. If accounts are added or used, an answer may also be associated with the signed-in account.

Tracking

PlainCrypto does not add advertising, behavioural tracking or analytics cookies by default. Standard hosting/server logs may still record ordinary technical request information needed to operate and secure the site.
